Quechua Dwelling on the road to Ausangate
Along the Ausangate trek in the Rainbow Mountains you will find modest villages at this high altitude of over 166oo feet. Llamas are very crucial to the people here not only do they use them for transportation and heavy lifting. They shear their wool to weave for clothing and blankets as well as use them for their meat. Every part of these creatures are used for the daily life of the Quechua people.
