Antelope Canyon and Zion National Park Travel Photography Workshop
This 4-day workshop is $1,000 and the date will be announced soon in the Spring/Summer of 2014.
Price includes all transportation, hotel lodging, guides and tours, photography instruction, camping and activities. Meals are not included (*camping optional)
On this adventure workshop designed for Amateur or Professional photographers who want to break into the destination/travel photography scene, Laura Grier will guide you into the famous Lower and Upper Antelope Canyons while giving you tips on ways to create dramatic photos, surreal portraiture, and creative use of available light. Laura will not only show you how to find light and color and to frame your shot in ways that will add excitement to your images, but how to shoot studio-like images with just using portable simple equipment.
The #GlamVan is getting geared up for it’s next adventure! Laura and her posse of adventure photographers will take you on an epic road trip across Utah and Arizona and will be there every step of the way to give assistance or advice while you are taking your own photos. You will have the opportunity to bounce ideas off of other like-minded photographers on the trip during the group critique sessions. We will be visiting the Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons and take an ATV into the slot canyons. The first two nights we will be staying at a hotel in Page, Arizona and having critique sessions over cocktails after a fun-filled day of shooting. The next two nights we will camping in the famous Zion National Park and shooting inside of the park. You will get a chance to hike The Narrows one of the coolest hikes you will ever do where you will find yourself wading waist-deep in a river surrounded by sheer canyon walls. Not only will you have a fun-filled vacation full of some of the world’s most breathtaking views, but you will come back with an amazing travel photography portfolio of your own and be armed with the tools to be creative no matter what crazy locale you and your camera find yourselves:)
